I am Kristen — artist, maker, and founder of BEZYL.

What began as a late-night obsession with raw gemstones, Dr. Pepper, and kettlecorn in my Black Hills home studio has since grown into something bigger: a curated space where jewelry, piercings, and personal transformation all live under one roof.

Royal Bear Designs was where it all started (now rebranded as Bezyl)— a one-woman show born from a single handmade mother’s ring that changed everything for me. I fell in love with the magic that jewelry could hold — how a single piece could carry meaning, mark a moment, or remind someone of who they are.

As a self-taught electroforming artist, I work with gemstones and crystals from around the world — each one chosen for its shape, color, and raw energy. Every piece I create is a fusion of intention, modern edge, and timeless detail. My goal is always the same: to make something that feels like you.
